Young Curry Photography was started by Heather Young Curry in Atascadero, Calif. Young Curry Photography is available for world-wide photography, such as destination weddings and events.

Heather grew up in Kansas and learned her love of photography at the age of 15 when she took Intro to Journalism to learn more about photography. From then on she could rarely be seen without a camera in her hand or nearby.

She continued take photos for the school newspaper and yearbook through college, as well as photographing everything she came across.

When she moved to Atascadero in 2003, she began to show her fine art photography and worked for the Atascadero News as a reporter/photographer, eventually becoming the editor. Through it all, she continued to do photography in her free time and in May 2007, she branched out on her own to concentrate on her business.
