The Atacadero Art & Wine Tour began May 2008 as the Atascadero Art Tour. The event includes businesses throughout the city of Atascadero. Four times a year businesses have artists' receptions on the same night at the same time. The event includes local wineries pouring selected wines at many of the participating businesses. Come out drink some local wine, view some art-much of it local-meet the artist, visit a favorite business or discover a new one. Many of the participating businesses have a special or something fun going on during the event. It's a great night out in Atascadero. Start with dinner, visit many of the participating businesses and end with drinks. With Atascadero's mild evenings, it's nice to get out and walk, meet some friends or become friends with someone new.

The next Atascadero Art & Wine Tour will take place on Aug. 27, 2010 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
